Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts had invested $1.4b to create a state-of-the-art 800 room luxury hotel and multi-use space for events and conferences in Colombo, Sri Lanka. As the country has suffered a range of political and economic challenges a successful launch was critical to the future success of the company – and the country.
Legacy Idea and Results
We identified the opportunity to present Cinnamon Life as “South Asia’s Largest Entertainment Hub”. To bring this to life creatively in a way that would communicate an emotionally led customer benefit as well as build excitement in the run-up to the launch and provide a long-term brand platform, we developed the Legacy Idea of “Where awe awaits”.
We integrated the campaign consistently across television, print, outdoor, online and social media.
By the time Cinnamon Life opened its doors on 15th October 2024 it achieved 100% occupancy.
