Today we bid farewell to Mandarin Oriental 25 years after we first launched the “I’m a fan” campaign.  We would like to thank everyone at Mandarin Oriental and each of the 50 fans and photographers for their help in creating one of the world’s most iconic advertising campaigns.

The campaign has helped Mandarin Oriental achieve higher brand awareness than competitors three times its size, recorded Ipsos Mori’s highest-ever ad recall of any client, and helped the Group grow its revenue over 800% since its launch.

LONDON Advertising’s philosophy is to create a Legacy Idea for each client, which is an idea that cuts-through, grows the brand and which can be proudly handed-on. 

We are immensely proud of what we have achieved for Mandarin Oriental and wish the Group every success in the future as they continue the campaign.
